Skill Skates

Skill Skates are a crucial part of every hockey player’s development. While team practices focus on systems and game preparation, Skill Skates are designed to isolate and improve the core fundamentals of the game skating, puck control, passing, shooting, and decision-making. These sessions give players the extra ice touches and repetitions they need to build confidence and consistency.

Who runs the Skill Skates?

All sessions are led by experienced Pro Vision Hockey Academy coaches with a strong background in player development. Our staff emphasizes teaching fundamentals, building confidence, and creating a positive learning environment..

What age group should my child join?

Players should register based on their birth year and USA Hockey age classification (8U, 10U, 12U). If you’re unsure, our staff can help place your child in the right group to ensure the best development experience.

What if my child has to miss a session?

We understand schedules can be busy. If your child misses a Skill Skate, please let us know. Make-ups are not guaranteed, but we’ll do our best to work with you if another session is available.
